Item Panel Info section refuses to stay expanded

The Info section is my default view, however, since yesterday or the day before it simply refuses to stay expanded - even if I roll up all other sections. When reviewing metadata for hundreds of files it is unworkable to have to expand it manually for each one - and again if you happen to update a field. I don't know if this is some plugin's doing (if it is, I will immediately nuke it to kingdom come). Is there a hidden setting somewhere I can check? It doesn't have a "pin" option.

You pin/unpin a section by double-clicking (or right-click → Pin/Unpin Section) on the icon in the side navigation bar. There'd be a blue badge on a pinned section.

If it's not that, restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.

So what happens when you go to a new item? Which panel/section opens?
Can you post a screenshot of the right-hand side of your Zotero?
And no need to speculate about plugins -- simply run Zotero in Troubleshooting Mode (Help menu) and see if the problem persists. There are dozens of plugins, many with frequent updates, so no way of knowing this without testing.

I'd expect this is whatever plugin adds the llm-? panel at the bottom. Try disabling that.

Switching to Troubleshooting Mode and back seemed to have resolved the issue. It still doesn't have a Pin option, but at least it stays expanded - even after returning to normal mode.

Info never has a Pin option. If nothing else is pinned, Info is always at the top. Pinning doesn't have anything to do with expanding and collapsing.

You can't pin the top section (because that's what is shown in the absence of a pinned section, so it's de-facto pinned), so that's working as intended.
