Automatically overwritten footnote by Zotero

Zotero has automatically overwritten footnote citations in a document. Some footnotes now display text that differs from what was originally in the Zotero library, even though the underlying fields remain active and linked the right footnote (it just appears different in the text). As I didn't expect that, I accepted manual changes, why I can't see now, where it all happended. How can I figure out, which footnotes Zotero unfortunately changed by itself as it is not asking me again. I am very looking forward for help, as it is my PhD-thesis we are talking about...
  • What changes are you speaking about? Still the same citation, but a slightly different style? Or something completely different?
  • Sorry for my delayed answer. It was a complete different article that was cited. You could only have figured that out, if you have clicked on the linked footnote, where in the opening window of zotero then stood the "original" source. As time was running out, my solution was in the end, to click on every footnote I had, to check, if it fits with the source in the window. But for my future work with zotero and my phd thesis I would like to know, why that happened, to make it not happen again, as it was a real pain to control around 1600 footnotes.
