Chicago notes and bibliography - German

I am using the Chicago notes and bibliography citation style in German. However, contributors are listed preceded by "With", not the German "Mit" - I have not been able to find out where to change this. I understand it should have something to do with CSL locale files but could possibly be overridden in the style itself, but have not been able to find out where or how. Another thread (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/106497/location-of-style-localization-files) suggested to check the "locale" sections in the style but I have only found English/British English under locale and no indication of how to override the localization. Similarly, I have also not found anything in APA or Chicago style by searching ">With<" though I assumed that it would appear somewhere in the style to generate that output. I am probably missing something really obvious but would appreciate help. If there is no easy way to change this it would be good to know too.
  • Can you give a concrete example of a citation/bibliography entry you're seeing?
  • Example from the bibliography:
Benoist, Alain de. Kulturrevolution von rechts: Gramsci und die Nouvelle Droite. Übersetzt von Charlotte Adelung. With Armin Mohler. Edition D 6. Sinus-Verlag, 1985.
As a footnote, it looks like this:
Alain de Benoist, Kulturrevolution von rechts: Gramsci und die Nouvelle Droite, übers. von Charlotte Adelung, with Armin Mohler, Edition D 6 (Sinus-Verlag, 1985).

The translator is correctly preceded by "Übersetzt von" but there does not appear to be a German localization for the contributor.
  • That certainly works for me:

I also checked our de-xx locales and that includes "mit" as a label for contributors.

Can you try in a fresh document just with one citation?
I'm actually not sure you've set Chicago for your document or manually modified it and now it doesn't update anymore.
  • Iirc I haven't modified the style, but I removed and readded Chicago Manual of of Style 18th edition - notes and bibliography via the repository to be sure. On my end it looks like this:

The citation and bibliography entry stay the same in a new document.
  • Which Zotero version?.You should be on 9.x
