Use of a PDF text editing tool

I am a dedicated user of Zotero on laptops and desktop computers; the tools it provides for highlighting and making annotations are very useful, versatile, intuitive, and easy to use. However, all of these strengths are lacking in Zotero for tablets. The text-marking features are not intuitive and are difficult to use.

I believe that if text selection and highlighting on tablets were more similar to the desktop versions, they would be much easier to use. For example, being able to continuously select a sentence, a paragraph, etc., and, after selecting, having a pop-up appear with options to highlight and perform other functions—as happens in the PC versions.

Thank you very much!

You need to say what software you're actually referring to (the iOS app? the Android app?) and what the actual problem is that you're experiencing.

Both the iOS and Android apps support the same two highlighting modes as the desktop: a latched mode where you can enable the tool and then select text to highlight it and a non-latched mode where you can select text and then choose to highlight it from a popup. If there's something specific you're having trouble doing, you'll need to say more.
