FR: Allow Zotero login via a non-default browser

In the Zotero beta, clicking the login button launches the system's default browser for authentication. This requires users to be logged into their Zotero account in that specific browser to complete the sign-in process.
It would be great if an option could be provided—for example, a dialog prompting users to select which browser to use for authentication.

You can just copy and paste the URL into another browser.
  • With my Zotero account already authenticated in my default browser, clicking Log In in the Zotero client triggers an immediate redirect to https://www.zotero.org/login/verifymfa, preventing me from copying the URL (which address includes *session*). As a result, I cannot obtain the proper URL to paste into another browser. This forces me to log out of my Zotero account in my default browser before I can switch accounts in the Zotero desktop client.
  • If you are going to use multiple accounts, you really want to use multiple profiles rather than constantly wiping and resyncing your local data. (Even absent that, I think it'd be bad UX for Zotero to add an extra step for all users to accommodate the tiny faction of users with multiple accounts).
  • Yes. I am using multiple profiles with different Zotero accounts.

An alternative approach could be to add a hidden preference that lets users either copy the corresponding URL or select their preferred browser.

But authentication is preserved in profiles, so we're talking about doing this 2-3 times (unless you have a large amount of accounts, which would violate ToS)
