How do I unfold all items in a collection?

Hi
I was looking at a collection but every item has the triangle and I have to click that to unfold the item to click on the pdf title and be able to see the attached notes. Is there a way to unfold all items at once? That way I can skim through the notes much faster.

Click on any item in the Library (or within any collection you are interested in), and press the "+" or "-" on the keyboard to expand or collapse them
  • For those who found that "+" is not working on macos, I found that "Shift" + "+" will do the trick. I am using Zotero 6.0.37.
  • @victorleow: Nothing to do with macOS. "+" means the "+" character. Without Shift you'd be typing "=".
  • @dstillman, thank you for the clarification above. I recently started using Zotero 8 and wanted to share a quick observation regarding these shortcuts.

I realized that while Shift with + is required to expand items (as the '+' sign shares a key with '='), you must press the minus (-) key alone to collapse them. Since these two actions are a pair, it felt a bit counter-intuitive to use Shift for one but not the other. It would be a wonderful UX improvement if Shift with - could also trigger the collapse function to match the expand shortcut.

Furthermore, similar to professional software like Logic Pro or Final Cut Pro, it would be a game-changer if Zotero had a dedicated Keyboard Shortcut Manager where users can view and customize all commands to fit their specific workflows. I hope this feedback is helpful for future updates!

Shift with "-" is underscore. Again, it's "minus" and "plus" — that's it. It's no different from having to press Shift when you type a "plus" in any other context.
