an not add citations to existing word document

I have been adding citations with no issues. All of a sudden I can not add citations. Reloading the word plug-in did not recover, I would like to ask if this is the zotero 8 itself?

No, it’s not Zotero 8. If it works in a new, empty document, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents for the existing document.
