File sync

I have a personal Zotero account where I have been collecting files for many years, with notes and underlining. A while ago, I have finished the online storage space. So, the latest files I have been working with are not synchronised.
Now I have the access to a new institutional account providing unlimited storage. I have already tried to migrate, but, even though all the files are saved there, I loose the notes and underlining from my files. How can I solve this?

    There's nothing to migrate. You should delete the new account and add your institutional email address to your current account.
