How does one search within group libraries?

I understand that items in group libraries have a separate existence but I'm confused about how search works. What is modified in the group, stays in the group. How, then, do I search within the group library? I click on the group library and do a search and it returns items from My Library. The separate lives in two libraries means I need to be able to search for them separately and at the moment I think I can't search the group library at all.

    Currently, you can search group libraries only with the quick search bar or tag selector.

    Dan, on the quick search bar, could you take a brief look at this request? Especially if this is the only interface for searching group libraries at this point it would be nice if there was the possibility for some simple customization for speed.
