Best way to add chapters from edited collections

What is the best way to enter both an edited collection and its individual chapters into the database? I had been thinking that I would add the entire book as the main entry, and then add individual chapters as attachments or as related entries. However, I'd prefer not to have to enter bibliographic info over and over. Should I simply duplicate the entry for the entire collection so that I don't have to re-enter its pub info, and then add info for individual chapters, or is there a better way of doing this?

  • It sounds like you have the right idea. For the foreseeable future your best bet is to create one book section that has all of the info common to each chapter and then duplicate that item as many times as you need to. Then fill in the chapter specific information for each of the duplicates.
