how to code hyperlinking titles into CSL for a citation style

Hi all,
My team has created a new endnote format to meet our publisher's style, but the one thing we can't figure out how to get to work is hyperlinking the paper titles. Is there a way to make it so the title of the article gets auto-hyperlinked with the URL or DOI page, rather than not being shown at all or being afterward, "available at..."?

This is a requirement for our publisher, and it would be great not to have to do it manually since we've used Zotero to get the style right in all other respects.

Thanks,
Ali
  • Can't be done in CSL,. sorry
  • I'm always amazed how journals, institutions and sometimes individuals continue to invent new requirements despite the thousands of already existing styles :-D

For future reference, could you say which publisher wants this, preferably with a link to their guidelines?
  • Sorry just caught this. The publisher is my think tank, they use hyperlink, as do a some others in this space. If we could make the hyperlink work, 100 or so of us would use this regularly for our work. But as-is, I am having trouble convincing folks to use Zotero when they still have to manually input the hyperlinks once the doc is final for publishing.

It looks like others have raised this in the past and it was a consideration for future dev. Hope it happens.
  • I might be able to help automatising this. If you're interested, hit me up on info(at)citationstyler.com with a link to this thread. :)
