Cannot Open Files

I have a new laptop, only a few days old and can only open Zotero files that have the following date format: Year-Date-Month, for example: 2025-10-15. If the file date only includes the year, for exampIe, 2024, I cannot open it. Strangest glitch I have ever seen. Any sugestions??

    Not sure what you mean by that. Can you provide some screenshots of what you're seeing, and a Debug ID for reproducing it?

    But if you're just saying you can't open, e.g., PDFs that were accessible on the other computer, see Files Not Syncing.

    I'm not sure what that's supposed to be showing. That's…the Zotero web library? But you're clicking the Zotero Connector save button?

    Can you take a step back and explain exactly what you're trying to do?

    In the first photo, the highlighted file will not open. The date is only for the year. The next file has the year, month and date and will open. None of the files with just the date, open.

    Forget about the date. It almost certainly has nothing to do with whatever you're reporting.

    What do you mean by "open"? What exactly are you trying to do, and what steps are you taking, step by step? See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

    I am trying to open saved files in
    Zotero. The screen shot is from Zotero. No, I am not clicking the Zotero Connector button. The files have already been saved.

    In the Zotero app or in the web library?

    What do you mean by "open"? What exactly are you doing to try to open them? Why does your screenshot show the save popup?

    For the account you're posting from, you have literally one file attachment in your entire synced library, so you're certainly not going to be able to view any PDFs in the web library, if that's what you mean.

    Ok, I checked the link you sent and it says, my instituonal email is the only email showing. But, as I mentioned, I have two Zotero accounts; one account has 66 files and the other has 4. I am trying to figure out how to accesss both accounts.
