I use the newest zotero beta8 to import epubs, Zotero will retrieve metadata from the local epub file when the system is offline. but, after connecting to internet, Zotero will retrieve metadata from internet, and the metadata may not incomplete, How to set to retrieve metadata from local file by default, and if the metadata is not good, i can switch to retrieve metadata from internet by hands

as we can tell in the cover of this epub, it contains five books, the first picture demonstrate the metadata in the EPUB (used when you're offline), the title is suitable for this epub, containing the Book set of five. and the metadata we get via ISBN (when you're online) on the the second picture,the title only contains the first book of the epub,
