Libreoffice plugin version not updated?

I installed the latest libreoffice plugin in beta (8.0-beta.6) and the stable (7.0.23). and in both cases it shows the old version from Sep 2024 (7.0.1) in Libreoffice (25.2.5.2).

I installed both automatically and manually. Same results. Also, the Manual Installattion button in the plugin installation window does not respond in my hands, though I have trouble finding the .oxt file under /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/Resources/integration/libreoffice

This is on an M1 Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.6 and the ARM version of Libreoffice with Java JRE 21.0.8.
  • Looks like we haven't bumped the internal version number in a while, but both 7.0.23 and 8.0-beta.6 have the latest plugin (7.0.4).
  • Thanks. I see that the new version built on github still installs as 7.0.1. This is fine, obviously, though upon installation the new oxt gives a warning, which may deter some from installing the updated version:

7.0.5 was just reverting to the unmodified 7.0.3 .oxt due to an LO bug. We'll align the internal version number when the .oxt is rebuilt in a future release.

(The plugin should be auto-installed for most people, and the internal number doesn't matter in that case. Only people manually installing the plugin would see that warning.)
  • (Yes, in my case, the plugin does not autoinstall. Nuking the profile only works once, and I have to go back to manual installations again. Have no idea why.)
  • LibreOffice extensions was just updated to 7.0.6 for me using 8.0-beta.7+bdf49b9b0
  • Yes, the oxt numbers should update properly going forward.
