Translator error on Ebscohost (new EDS interface)
The Debug ID is D339589287.
Saving articles from CINAHL on the new Ebscohost interface has had intermittent EDS translator errors since the interface upgrade but now it is happening most of the time. I do often get the item added eventually from metadata, or sometimes as a webpage, but then the Ebscohost session becomes unresponsive and I have to close the tab and start again.
An example URL is https://research.ebsco.com/c/v7xepb/search/details/ferfsecqbv?db=ccm&isDashboardExpanded=true&limiters=None&q="nurse surveillance" AND Concept analysis
Thanks

Could there be a way for the translator to close after the error message? Right now it hangs there and I have to close the tab.
I'm getting the error message 'An error occurred saving with EBSCO Discover Layer. Attempting to save using Embedded Metadata instead'. This does eventually work, sometimes taking up to 20sec. As with milliken, the connector doesn't disappear, just hangs at the top of the screen. I have found by clicking the drop-down arrow, then clicking done, I can get it to go away.
An example URL is: https://openurl.ebsco.com/contentitem/doi:10.7459/ept/460203?sid=ebsco:plink:crawler&id=ebsco:doi:10.7459/ept/460203&crl=c
I'm also unable to save multiple articles from the search results screen. Every time I try I get the error 'An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information'.
I've been exporting RIS files to get around it, but that's pretty time-consuming.
I'm happy to raise this with EBSCO if it's their issue, but I'm not sure what information they would need.
