Zotero chrashes word

I have a big problem. Everytime when I try to change a citation, word is crashing. Restarted the programs, checked if it are the latest versions, restartet the PC - nothing helps. Its urgent.

Crashing or freezing? If crashing, what exact version of Word? If freezing, how large (e.g., how many citations) is the document? Does it work in a new, empty document?

It is crashing. Word (Version 2019) is completly clossed down. Zotero is still open. The document is a thesis, so 393 different citations and not quite sure hwo much exactly.

@cs603 You're likely going to have to follow Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents, but you should still make sure you are running the latest update of Word, and post the full version number here.

You will have to follow Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents. Removing the Table of Contents or other complex elements might help.
