Access dates of URLs not in the Bibliography

Dear all

Unfortunately, the access dates of the URLs do not show in the Bibliography. For several hours I have tried to solve that problem (changing citation style, updating my Zotero, reading the forum, watching youtube clips on the issue), but it still doesn't show.

In my discipline it is a must to mention the access dates of the URLs.

Thank you for your help in this matter!
  • Which citation style(s) are you using? This is determined by the citation styles, it's not a Zotero setting. Both APA and Chicago Manual did away with access date requirements (so they aren't in the style), but many journal styles have kept them.
  • I am using Chicago Manual of Style 18th edition.
  • Yeah, Chicago has specifically advised against using access dates since the 17th edition, so if you want access dates for items that have a publication date (it will include them for items that don't) you'll want to use a different style.
  • Thanks a lot for this information.
  • MHRA provides access dates even with items that have an issue date.
