editing zotero styles manually or automatically
My publisher has asked that I change my zotero style so instead of showing this (by example_
Elizabeth Line Stations Are UK’s Busiest’, 21 November 2024, https://www.modernrailways.com/article/elizabeth-line-stations-are-uks-busiest.
I show this instead -
‘Elizabeth Line Stations Are UK’s Busiest’, Modern Railways, 21 November 2024, https://www.modernrailways.com/article/elizabeth-line-stations-are-uks-busiest.
and also to include date of access -
,‘London Population 2025’, World Population Review, https://worldpopulationreview.com/cities/united-kingdom/london. accessed 19 April 2025
Do I have to add manually? and if so, how do I do this?
And if not, how do I edit a standard citation style so ti appears like this every time? I now also cannot work out which version of chicago this was?!!! (sorry, I am new to writing and zotero).
Thanks. Any help much appreciated?

In that case, we'd want a link to the author guidelines and a link to an open-access journal that shows this behaviour.
You will receive a correct citation from Zotero if you enter the first example as magazine article (with the magazine name in the Publication field).
The second item would work as a web page: the access date will appear if there is not an issue date for the work itself (but you would either need either to have imported the web page to Zotero using the browser connector or to have entered the access date manually).
