I cannot seem to sync and all instructions I have received aren't working for me. I can't even tell if I have downloaded the Connector correctly.

I click to install the connector, which I'm guessing I already have since it now says "remove from Chrome", but I didn't do anything besides hit the install button. No other prompts came up. So does that mean it is installed? Now how do I sync?

That's the Zotero Connector, which lets you save to Zotero. You still need the Zotero app, which is available from the
download page
.
