[Feature Request] make the internal pdf reader FULLSCREEN in zotero
I need the feature to make the pdf file fullscreen to concentrate, please add this feature to zotero.
I think it is very helpful to use all the screen area to read pdfs, especially in 16:9 devices . Zotero is very useful to manage my research resources, if the preview function can makes the full use of my screen then zotero is my ONLY software to manage and review articles, so please add the FULLSCREEN button and the sortcut to zotero.
thanks a lot

For macOS, I believe the system-level fullscreen mode is already free from the title bar, menu bar, and taskbar; not to mention MacBooks usually have 16:10 screens.
terrificly missed
Disclaimer: I am not the author of mentioned plugins and cannot guarantee their security but I do use them in my setup.
First one is "make it fullscreen" plugin by Tantalus13A98B5F. It is not very well maintained and just does what it says: makes Zotero fullscreen.

Second one is more useful to me and called "Zotero Toogle Bars" by wmstack. This is also not properly maintained but developer is responsive to issues opened. It allows toggling Tab Bar via Ctrl+T, Annotation Toolbar via Ctrl+A and Left Sidebar via Ctrl+B.

I think there is a need for an update in Zotero's documentation since Zotero 7 rendered most plugins defunct from the Zotero 6 and prior.

But:
- The expected shortcut on windows would be the F11 key.
- The menu bar at the top and the taskbar at the bottom are still visible.
The option from the View menu is also working (last option "Toggle Interface Elements"). Adding the shortcut visible from the menu would make it easier to find and remember.
The plugins "make-it-fullscreen" and the original "Zotero-Toggle-Bars" are not compatible with the latest Zotero beta.

- You can set the F11 key as full screen shortcut
- It removes the menu bar at the top and keeps the annotations bar
- But it still keeps the taskbar at the bottom
You may be able to tweak the script as you need, or ask for help on the GitHub of the script.
You can also add shortcuts to toggle the side panes:

And you can also combine different scripts into one if you want to hide all menus and panes with a single shortcut.
Unfortunately, the behavior of Windows is something that I cannot control. I hope at least by hiding some Zotero elements you can see more of the PDF.
I opted for the shortcut "Ctrl+Cmd+h" as this is the reader mode shortcut for Adobe Reader on MacOS.
I just released a new version 0.0.2, where the shortcut is "Ctrl+h" for Windows/Linux and "Ctrl+Cmd+h" for MacOS.
For this extension I extensively used Copilot with many iterations. Perhaps you can achieve the same for controlling Windows and make a pull request.
@mjthoraval Thanks for this pointer. I may try it out.

Can you enable the issues reports on GitHub?
That will be a better place to give feedback.
Tested on Zotero 7.1 beta on MacOS.
