Generate PDF-collection from word-citations

I am working on a rather long text with many citations from all across my Zotero library. The stakeholder of the project wishs to have access to the cited literature, so I am looking for a simple workaround to collect all those PDF files in as little manual work as possible (ideally prettily named first, as with the option to rename the pdf-file based on the annotations).
Any suggestions or links to discussions I've missed in my previous search on the forum?

1. Use Reference Extractor to select the cited items from your document in Zotero. (There will be a way to do this from within Zotero in a future update.)

2. File → Export PDFs.

Reference Extractor worked very, very well. I now hav a directory in my Zotero that contains all references of my report.

The only bummer is, I cannot select-all and rename the pdfs according to the metadata in one step. I have to individually right-click each PDF in my directory. that makes it a bit tedious in the end. It would be nice to be able to run the PDF-renaming on several entries at once (heck; why not the entire library ;-)

The files should already be renamed based on the metadata, unless you've changed the renaming format or edited metadata since the files were added.
