plugin scihub
Hi, I am new on this. Does anyone could help me with this? I'm not able to find a working plugin for scihub. If I copy from firefox I do not know how to paste it when I go to the plugin space, and if I download it, I can't see any .xpi.
Thanks for helping!

Zotero is based off Firefox and hence FF will think it's a plugin for itself. That of course won't work.
Go here and download(!) the .xpi.

Probably the simplest way to add sci-hub support is just to add a currently-valid sci-hub URL to the list of resolvers for Find Available PDF (item must have DOI or URL, and can't already have a child PDF attachment, in order for that option to appear in the right-click menu ):

https://github.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/blob/master/engines.json (backup and replace default resolvers file version in Zotero\locate folder)

Zotero7-scidb aims to be similar to zotero-scihub, and may be the best plugin option ....

This plugin appears to just add sci-hub to the above resolver list. But it's not clear if it's currently working (and it may overwrite existing resolvers ?).

all the links I try to download I have a popup message: not able to download it because the file is damaged
I understand that the version 7 doesn't have still a working plugin, but I know some people are using it, how???

While I don't use that scipdf plugin often I do find that it usually works. I just tested it (via right-click Fetch PDF) on a 2020 paper with DOI and it downloaded the correct PDF.
Remember of course that sci-hub itself mostly stopped adding new papers several years ago (and it never had some earlier papers). So a first test if the plugin does not find a paper would be to go directly to one of the sci-hub URLs and test the DOI (and title) there.
The scipdf plugin inserts new custom resolvers - see extensions.zotero.findPDFs.resolvers in Config Editor - although it adds its own right-click Fetch PDF instead of relying on Zotero's Find Full Text.

The plugin currently enters 7 different sci-hub URLs into those resolvers. Of course some sci-hub URLs stop working from time to time (or are blocked), so you can change the URLs used in the plugin's settings ("Sci-hub URL") to known working ones* . The plugin appears to just pass the {doi} (eg from your Zotero item metadata) direct to the sci-hub URL.
In my experience going to sci-hub URLs directly will sometimes provide a wrong download when it does not have the one you ask for. So that could also be the problem you are seeing.
I usually do just use the sci-hub websites directly rather than using the plugin (or sometimes I use a sci-hub browser plugin).
* For sci-hub problems, it's also always a good idea to check the two SLUM sites (Shadow Library Uptime Monitor) and the sci-hub subreddit.
