Theme is not applied to some pages

I have a PDF where the theme is not applied on some pages, as if the entire content on the page is treated as an image. See the below for a few examples:





Everything else on those pages (e.g., highlighting) seems to behave normally.

This is using version 7.1-beta.24+929147b33 (64-bit) on Linux.
  • Yes, the light area is actually an image. For some reason, it uses a fallback method that only slightly changes the color, instead of fully replacing the image background like on other pages. The other page is also a scanned text image, but its background is successfully replaced.
  • @warwickmm: Does it change with the zoom level when you zoom in the light area regions?
