Zotero 7 for Mac Error Prompting for Updates

I recently upgraded from Windows to Mac and installed Zotero. When opened, an error prompt to search for updates.

Did you use the Migration Assistant? There was a similar report by another person who did and ended up having a similar problem. You can see it here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/485456

We can confirm it by looking at the output of the following command executed in the Terminal:

ls -la ~/Zotero
