How to copy out plain text?

I have below text in notepad.

Copy it to zotero notes.

Then copy it back to notepad.

The format is changed. For e.g. 1) \ before . 2) extra blank new line.
How can I get the original text from zotero notes?
  • Copying text from the note editor produces Markdown output, adding an unnecessary slash to escape the dot. We'll look into fixing this.

Hello!!! @martynas_b Today I noticed that the same problem occurred in this discussion thread, I work with Obsidian and when I drag and drop + shift on an Obsidian note, (/) is displayed, I also tried it in Notepad or vscode and the same problem occurs.

As I see it, four months have passed and I was wondering if the problem has been solved, or am I doing something wrong?

Note the following: If I press Ctrl+C and paste it (Ctrl+V) in Obsidian, the issue with the (/) is resolved. However, if I paste the annotation in Notepad, WordPad, or VSCode, the problem persists. The issue with the (/) occurs in all of the mentioned editors when performing drag and drop + shift on both annotations and standalone notes or notes from annotations. @martynas_b .
  • I restarted zotero in troubleshooting mode and the problem persists, any solution? Thanks
