How to copy out plain text?

I have below text in notepad.

Copy it to zotero notes.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u4940378/yy6d8a8h590407r1obcu.png

Then copy it back to notepad.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u4940378/x7ga3uuj3bhkf8ww52b2.png
The format is changed. For e.g. 1) \ before . 2) extra blank new line.
How can I get the original text from zotero notes?

Copying text from the note editor produces Markdown output, adding an unnecessary slash to escape the dot. We'll look into fixing this.
