Qelcome advice, Zotero dysfunctions in bibliography and browser, MAC, Chrome, Word

I am using Chrome and Word in MACPRO

Have downloaded Zotero “Zero Connector” in “Dashboard”.
But CANNOT
(1) import/export bibliography to Zotero
(2) “Save to Zotero” button in browser’s toolbar.
(3) I fixed ADBlocker to “pause “(permit) Zotero

Welcome advice same

• MACPRO 15 in 2018 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Cor

• Chrome Version 116.0.5845.96 (Official Build) ( (x86_64)

• MS Word 16.76

Once again, thanks for your help. English is my native language. I have been teaching at a University for some two decades. I would like to upgrade my Zotero account if successful. We want our students to use Zotero.

Your instructions were followed: Zotero 7 and Zotero reconnector are re-installed, in Applications, and now in Dock Menu.

However specific problems prevent it from working:

• Zotero Word Plugin not installing in Word with Zotero 7.
• Zotero is not appearing in Word for Mac

I would like to upgrade my Zotero account

There are no "upgrades" to Zotero accounts. You can additionally buy storage, which would allow the pdfs you attach in one computer to sync to other computers/web library, but all Zotero accounts have full functionality, including free syncing of all item data you save in your library to all computers. And a storage purchase has nothing to do with Word plugin use or what you do in Word.

Make sure to follow the manual installation instructions as described there, and mention the steps you followed. Please describe what you tried in your own words. It is not the browser connectors that matter, but the word processor plugins, in this case.

(There is no thing as Zero Connector, and Dashboard, which was long before removed from Mac OS, is not relevant. Also keep in mind that "x is not installing" alone is not useful for troubleshooting, as the software obviously works generally. Do you get an error message? What is the exact wording? Does Zotero or Word crash or freeze? Etc.)
