PDFs are not uploaded to zotero cloud storage
Hi all,
I have been using zotero with zotfile for a while, but I am considering to upgrade the storage to simplify my working routine. However, I have noticed that the pdfs are not being uploaded to zotero cloud storage. I checked this guide https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing and could not find any issue.
Could this be related to the use of zotfile? if so, in case that I finally decir to upgrade the storage, how can I revert this and synchronize my old pdfs, which were imported with zotfile?
Any help would be much appreciated.

For files to sync with Zotero they'd have to be stored as attachments. You can convert linked file to stored files using Tools--> Manage attachments --> Convert....
thanks for your reply. You are right, I meant zotfile, I have edited this in my message. However, after following your suggestion, the pdf are still not bein uploaded to zotero cloud space.
I have never used zotlink, but I see it works alongside Zotfile (which no longer works in Zotero v7; replaced by Zotmoov or attanger).
Which presumably means that your PDFs are "linked" files, not "stored" files under Zotero\storage. If so, your issue and its remedy are described at #2 in the instructions you linked above.
You need to select items to move before using the Tools menu operation. And Zotero must be able to locate the PDFs (at the located stored in its database). Once they are back in local Zotero storage, you need file syncing turned ON, and to be under your online file storage quota, in order for them to sync to your online account.
