Bibliography and citations not linked or updating

Unfortunately, the update between the bibliography and the citations in Word does not work, which is why the numbers in the Vancouver citation are wrong. I have already tried everything described here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/debugging_broken_documents. Occasionally an error message opens which refers to the before mentioned website. I am using MacOs.
Please help, as this is a document with a large bibliography :(

    The numbers are recognized, i.e. the citation fields turn grey and also correspond to the sources. However, the bibliography is not updated. As a result, the number in the text indicates an incorrect source in the bibliography. Although the citation is linked to the correct source with Zotero.

    Can you tell more about your document? How many citations does it have? Did you previously insert a bibliography? In Document Preferences are Automatic Citation Updates disabled? If so, have you tried using the Refresh button in the plugin?

    I think I solved the problem by restarting everything, copying it into a new document and deleting the bibliography and creating a new one by the Zotero plug-in. Before I just deleted it and copied the old one.
