Better BibTex breaks Zotero?

I'm running Zotero on Fedora, and I recently installed the Better BibTex plugin. Now, I can't open Zotero anymore. I get this error message:

(Zotero:4135): Gtk-WARNING **: 09:45:56.611: GTK+ module /snap/zotero-snap/98/gnome-platform/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so cannot be loaded.
GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supported.
Gtk-Message: 09:45:56.611: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 09:45:56.611: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"

I'm not even sure how to uninstall the plugin, since that would require opening Zotero in the first place. Has anyone else had this issue?
  • Those errors aren't relevant, but for problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.

You can start Zotero from the command line with -safe-mode to disable all plugins and then disable BBT from Tools → Plugins.
  • But it also looks like you're using the Snap package version of Zotero which isn't officially supported. I'd try with the official version, run straight from the tarball.
