Upgrade StorageContinue editing a document that has already been worked on
I am desperately looking for help.
My problem is that in a document that I have already started to edit, I cannot continue editing with Zotero after saving and closing it. More precisely:
My citations and reference list go up to number 63. If I now want to add another citation, which according to the alphabet should be at 26, this is simply inserted into the text as citation number 1 and the existing reference list is not supplemented, but a new one is created.
How can I edit, add or delete citations in an existing text?

My document was saved as an .odt. and not an .docx. That might be the problem, right?
But it seems that saving the document as .docx. won´t help me now, will it? Because following all these steps, my existing citations are still not detected. It should have been saved this way rightfrom the beginning, shouldn´t it?
