I'm experiencing an issue with Zotero where references in my document lose their links when I reopen the document after closing it. The references no longer appear as active (grayed out) and are displayed as plain text. Additionally, when I insert new references after reopening the document, a new bibliography is created instead of updating the existing one. This results in multiple bibliographies in my document.

I've ensured that the Zotero plugin is installed and activated in my word processor. I've also tried using the "Refresh" button, but the problem persists.

Any assistance on how to maintain the links between Zotero and my document and ensure a continuous bibliography would be greatly appreciated.
