Get full bibliographic references for books

Hi, I found repeated problems to retrieve full, accurate references for monographies (books) on websites and import them with Zotero. Most publishers or book retailers bury the details somewhere in the websites, if at all, incl isbndb.com. Where can I easily import book references into Zotero?

    Library catalogs are the best bet -- Library of Congress is typically where I start (if I move beyond our local library), but the 'best' source varies depending on your main language.
    We do try to support some academic publishers and will take requests, but they're not actually great sources for book metadata.
