Mac Reinstall of Web Library ???

I have 1.6 gigabytes (over 1500 items) in Web Library that has been downloading for over 1 hour.

I can see all items online in Web Library but it seems to be taking an extended time to load. Is this normal?

Can I just download a partial amount? They are separated in different libraries.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Meaning the attachment files are still downloading? Do you see all your items already?

File-download speed will depend on your internet connection. If you don't need all your files locally, you can change it to download files "as needed" instead of "at sync time" from the Sync pane of the settings (and you can stop and restart the sync).
  • Nothing is downloading, it says "Loading items" but not.

That would be unrelated to syncing. Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through a few minutes of message showing, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

Check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero settings. Does it pass?
  • Errors were found in your Zotero database.

You can use the database repair tool at http://zotero.org/utils/dbfix to attempt to correct these errors.

    OK, you should do that.
  • I zipped file and attempted to upload on 3 different browsers and they all time out. I have 575 upload and 23.5 download speeds
  • I attempted manual repair and problem not resolved

How big is the zotero.sqlite file?

Can you provide a Debug ID for doing an integrity check after performing a manual repair?

The file is being uploaded and repaired, and the repaired file should start up fine.

Email us at support@zotero.org with a link to this thread and we can send you a link.
  • okay i received file, how do I install it in application
  • dstillman Zotero Team
Zotero reads the file name zotero.sqlite in its data directory at startup.
  • the file will not open, and Zotero does not recognize
  • dstillman Zotero Team
Right, because you don't open it. As I say, Zotero reads the file named zotero.sqlite file in its data directory at startup. So you need to place the repaired file into the folder with that name, in place of the existing, corrupted zotero.sqlite file.
  • ok thank you
  • Perfect !!!!!

thank you so very much !!!!
