How to give short forms for canon (an alternative for page number)?

In Zotero, there are various alternatives to page numbers such as articles, sections, and canons. When citing a canon, it currently appears as "canon 7." Is there a way to customize this to display as "c. 7"? In addition, I would like "cc." to be the short form for multiple canons. How can I achieve this? For example: Norman P. Tanner, ed., "Decrees of the Ecumenical Councils," Volume 2 (Washington D.C.: Georgetown University Press, 1990), c. 73.
  • Which citation style is that? Chicago or SBL? Systematically, this would have to be done in the citation style, which we can look at depending on which one you're using (I'm guessing this is established in SBL, but 'c.' might not be sufficiently clear for an all purpose style like Chicago). Short term, you can just use the suffix instead.
