Quick Look Up on MacOS; Text misalignment?

MacOS has a feature where you can long-press to pop up a quick look up window. I find this extremely convenient when researching new topics to quickly get background information.

Sometimes, however the feature doesn't work as expected, specifically in Zotero. Most articles act like the text is misaligned with where the system thinks is should be. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

This is a complicated issue, but it may have improved slightly in Zotero 7 beta.

Here's another example I've come across where it doesn't recognize line separation. You can see that I'm trying to look up "peramorphosis" but it's catching "peramorphosisthrough". This article actually works fine for most words in the middle of the block, but not near the edges.

"through" being on the next line of text.
