solved: Word for Mac: Run time error 5 with Zotero 6.031

When I try to use the zotero plug-in for word, a message pops up saying 'run time error 5'.

I found fixes for the problem that were for earlier versions of zotero, but these don't seem to help with this version I have. What might be the problem?

    The first thing to try is to go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and reinstall the plugin, then restart Word. If the issue persists, try restarting your Mac.

    Restarting the computer fixed it, after reinstalling - which I'd already tried earlier. T
