Zotero 7 - Import Annotations

I can't seem to find the Import Annotations options in Zotero 7.... has it not been added yet?

    yes... I dont see this in Zotero 7 in either the PDF reader mode or when viewing the library

    Here is what it looks like for me from the PDF Reader:

    The option is just greyed and inactive if there are no external annotations.

    Can you share a screenshot of what it looks like for you?
    Do you still have the problem with all plugins disabled?
    What is your OS and exact version of Zotero?

    All plugins disable....
    Im using
    Zotero 7.0.0-beta.68
    OS X Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)

    same thing when I open the PDF viewer in Zotero... no import annotations in the file menu

    ok I just figured it out... the import annotations option only shows up when you open the pdf in a tab, not a separate window! And not if you select the pdf from the main library view... Thanks

    In beta 104, we've added "Import Annotations…" to separate reader windows.

    For PDF files without annotations, opening it in a tab leaves the "Import Annotations…" menu option greyed:



    Opening the same file in a separate Reader window keeps the option active:
