highlight on iPad is broken into pieces

Hi, my highlight feature on iPad breaks the highlight into pieces (like an image I attached). Has anyone experienced this? How can I fix it?

Seeing the same thing today.

The highlight function works well on my Windows laptop version of the software, yet when I switch to IOS, trying to highlight the same sentence, the highlight breaks into pieces, just like what is shown above.

Hoping to hear some suggestions / updates from the developers soon.

I updated this morning to version 1.0.29 build 244 and am noticing the same thing. The file I’m experiencing this with didn’t have issues with the previous version.

Old highlights are in yellow, new highlight in red:
