Every time I try to add an in-text citation, I go through the whole process and it just doesn't show in my doc. No error messages. I tried restarting and switching browsers.

adomasvenMake sure you are running version 5.0.119 of the Zotero Connector, then restart Zotero and your browser and try again.

dstillmanCan you restart Zotero, reload Google Docs, and provide Debug IDs from Zotero and the Zotero Connector for an attempt that fails?

gms278before it just wasn't putting the citation in the doc, now it won't even get me that far because I have to force quit. I try to add the citation anti just shows the land bar and won't go away. So I cant even click on the debug ids at that point

dstillmanYou can certainly still submit one from the Zotero Connector, but you should be able to switch back to the main Zotero window and submit the one from there as well.

gms278all of the tabs on the top are gone there’s no help tab when it’s loading. how else do i get to it?

dstillmanThe citation dialog is a separate window. The main Zotero window is still there, and you can switch to it.

dstillmanI'm not sure what you're addressing with that. I asked for Debug IDs, without which we can't help you further.

dstillmanYou provided a Report ID. I'm asking for Debug IDs, which are different. That page has precise instructions for how to provide them for both Zotero and the Zotero Connector.

dstillmanedited February 29, 2024Ah, that wasn't for any operation, though, so it's just empty. @gms278, you'll need to follow the instructions on that page to generate appropriate debug output.
