Feature request: allow replacement of item

I constantly replace arXiv versions of articles in my library with the published versions. However, some articles exist in multiple subcollections, making it cumbersome to switch. I wonder if you could provide a feature to "completely replace one item with a new one," which would be much more convenient. Thanks!

    Add the new item → select both → right-click → Merge Items. The merged item will remain in any collections where it previously existed and will still be linked to citations in any word processor documents.
