can't add downloaded files

Hi,
I can no longer add PDFs or other downloaded files to my Zotero libraries. I haven't run out of storage yet. I can still add items with the Zotero extension in my browser, but I can't drag and drop PDFs anymore. Similarly, when I go to the green + and then Store Copy of File, it says, "You cannot add files to the currently selected collection."

    Nothing to do with storage — your online storage quota never affects your ability to add things locally.

    One of your groups has file editing disabled. I'd guess you're trying to add files there.

    In the group settings on this site, where you disabled it originally (or the group might have originally been an open public group, which doesn't allow files).
