HELP! Zotero integration stuck in 'ongoing operation' in Google Docs
Since yesterday, every time I attempt to add a new citation or update the bibliography, Zotero displays a message instructing me to 'Keep the Google Docs tab active for the ongoing operation. Please do not switch away from the browser until the operation is complete.'
Then, Zotero shows a 'loading' green bar and automatically scrolls down my document while searching for all the periods (.) in the document for hours!
I have restarted my laptop several times, cleared the cache of Google Chrome, and even tried two different laptops. It worked when I created a new document -- however, when I made a copy of the document I'm working on, it didn't work.
Do you have any ideas on how I can resolve this issue without having to unlink my entire bibliography? I'm working on a 125-page document, and relinking everything would take hours.
This is extremely urgent because my thesis deadline is in just 9 days. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You edited a citation by accident to include only a period, and on Google Docs it has to scan the document for each period because of that. See what I say there to fix.
If you can provide a Debug ID for reproducing this, we might be able to tell you more about the original citation to help you narrow down where in the document it is.
