lock zotero database/read-only mode

Zotero automatically saves changes in all items. As such it would be interesting to have a read-only mode while browsing the database, in order to avoid unnoticed and accidental changes, in the bibliographic fields, in the notes, etc.

Perhaps a clickable lock-symbol next to the "new collection" symbol (or anywhere else on top) could be interesting.

(Yet to be able to create a saved-search in the read-only mode should perhaps still be possible.)

    renewing this as it would be handy to lock collections. For instance, I am performing a systematic literature review and knowing that I could not add/remove items by accident would be helpful.

    I have a few collections that have references that I've included in particular manuscripts or research proposals, and I'd love to be able to lock the collection to prevent myself from accidentally modifying things.
