I have used multiple pages from Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Bird of the World site and on their page they say:
"To cite Birds of the World as a whole (for example, you want to refer to the series in general or you have used content from many accounts):
Birds of the World (2022). Edited by S. M. Billerman, B. K. Keeney, P. G. Rodewald, and T. S. Schulenberg. Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, Ithaca, NY, USA. https://birdsoftheworld-org.unh.idm.oclc.org/bow/home"
but it doesn't say whether it is considered a book, webpage, database, or anything and I am not sure how I would enter it into zotero. does anyone have experience with this or insight?

adamsmithI'd cite this as a book and individual pages as book sections -- not sure how conceptually correct that is, but will give you good citations.
