1) Has anyone tried to use an API to increase the productivity of writing essays through ChatGPT and referencing directly from your personal Zotero? Would you be able to share more about this?

2) Is there any API for such an interface? Would you be able to share more about this?

Please do not add any form of AI to Zotero (whatever that means). Don't follow the senseless hype.

However programmatic APIs could be interesting, and having chatGPT parse through your Zotero library could be fun.

Thank you for your reply. I agree with you. I don't intend to add AI to Zotero.

I was referring to your 2nd looking exactly.

I have not been able to find API that could help writing essays on ChatGPT but only referenced from my Zotero library.

I'm also interested in this. My idea is to grant my "GPT" (custom ChatGPT, you might have heard of it, available since a few days) access to my zotero database (so using chatgpt, instead of using an add-on/plug-in in zotero). Does anyone know a functioning api schema for that?

I have tried all three of the addons indicated here in V6 on a Mac with no success. They all give me a 100% startup message. ARIA tells me i dont have access to GPT4 even after trying multiple API keys, Kazgu gives me a prompt window that doesn't have a submit function, Muise opens a wind ow and allows prompts, says its running but doesn't give me the output. I guess I'll wait

Anyone else have success on a Mac?

Elicit.org just announced Zotero import integration. It’s outside of the Zotero app, but you can select the papers then start asking it questions.

ARIA is working fine. You have to add credit to your gpt api account from openai.com, even if you have monthly subscription. Once you have at least 5$, generate a user api and paste in the ARIA settings. Restart zotero and it should work.

So all of these work with OpenAI API. Any that work with ChatGPT? I have a subscription to ChatGPT and don't want to pay more to use OpenAI's API
