Upgrade Storage[Z7 Beta] Strange behaviour when resizing annotation in the newest beta

I've found some strange behaviour in the newest beta (7.0.0-beta.52+2f8e536f2). The first thing I noticed was that resizing annotations deletes some lines at the beginning of the annotation.
To reproduce:
1. Use the annotation tool to highlight several lines of text
2. Select it and use the resizing handle at the end to resize the text annotation (doesn't matter whether it's for shortening or lengthening it)
3. The first few lines of the annotation are suddenly not highlighted anymore.

While trying to record I've also noticed that quite often the resizing handle at the beginning of the highlight is not shown. I could not make out the pattern for when and how this happens.
