The author field presents several hypotheses: author, editor, translator, etc. Would it be possible to create the same type of solution for pages? We can have pages, columns, folios, etc.
You can choose column/folio/etc from the dropdown in the Add Citation window when you insert citations into a word processor document or a Zotero note.
Columns/folios/etc are typically only cited in citations rather than in the bibliography entry referring to the whole work, so it is less clear to me that these fields should be part of the permanent Zotero item data
