real rookie question

Hi. I am very very new to Zotero, so sorry for the naive question.

How can I get my library to show dates of articles in it? Each individual item has a date, and I have selected 'title, creator, year' from the drop down menu on the top right, but it only shows title and creator. I can't seem to find help on how to change this.

    In the Zotero desktop application, right-click on the column header to select what fields to show in the items list. In the web library there is a table icon at the top right of the items list you can click to choose the displayed columns.
