Abbreviate first name to 2 letters
Writing my phd thesis, I had the following problem. The authors' first names are abbreviated to one letter. But some authors need two letters, not one. For example:
- Szuromi, Szabolcs in abbreviated form is Szuromi, Sz. and not Szuromi, S.
- Delhaye, Philippe in abbreviated form is Delhaye, Ph. and not Delhaye, P.
I found a solution for LaTeX and bibtex. If I type the name like this {\relax Sz}abolcs, it gives the requested result. But it does not work here. Is there any solution?
Thx in advance.

Philippe
to be abbreviated toPh
by capitalizing the letters you want to have used as the initials, soPHilippe
. Better BibTeX will pick that up and export that to{\relax Ph}ilippe
for BibTeX,given-i
for BibLaTeX. I don't know what the standard Zotero BibTeX export does.
